When I took this and some other photos of this part of Hayes, it was on a day when I went back to the road where I was born, near Church Road and the Uxbridge Road. I didn't regard this as
Hayes Town or the parts of Hayes (Cranford area where I experienced some
really unhappy times). I was christened in this church, and on the day I took this photo walked from the park to the old fire Station where my husband had worked, then on to the road and house where I was born. I took the photos for the reason that I was re-establishing places I had known and not seen for a long time and to show my Mum who left Hayes many, many years ago. I sent them to Hayes Photos as a contribution. I see that this photo of mine has been used as a link on another forum to seemingly put my character in disrepute. It is such a shame to use pictures in such a malicious way which we have contributed to the site with the best reasons, for others enjoyment. Marian.

To Jon: I have tried to delete the last past of my post here unsuccessfully. Also, it is not possible to delete the entire post. I am sorry that I explained, maybe too clearly, on here what has been happening. It certainly spoils the pleasure of the Photos site and so, I can only request that the last part should be ignored. One good thing from it was that I was so pleasantly surprised at the photo which still captures the atmosphere of the day it was taken. Thankyou from Marian.
