Thanks Gordon. This is a very interesting photo. You may notice we have it already, but this is a much better quality scan.
What make it so interesting is that I WAS IN THIS CLASS a few years later, when they reached the 3rd year of the juniors. I briefly moved from Grange Park to Barnhill Juniors for about 4 months in the winter of 1971/2 when we moved house!!
Is there someone you know in this picture? I remember a couple of the people here, Tanner for example (who I think may have been called Neil.)
The only reason I remember him is because when I joined the class in about October 71, there were two boys opposite me on our little group of tables and one of them said of the boy sitting next to him "we call him spanner - cos his name's Tanner."
A girl who sat to my right on the same group of tables was called Lesley - I remember her because she did all she could to make my time there as unpleasant as possible and is one of the reasons I left and went back to Grange Park. (Oops... I hope you haven't got a daughter called Lesley who's in this picture... I'll delete those remarks if you have!!) - Josh.
PS If my memory serves me correctly after all these years, Tanner is the third boy in from the left in the middle row.
