One of two pictures from Philip Sherwood who writes:

Gothic House stood on the corner of Harlington High Street and Sipson Lane,almost opposite the Red Lion. It had at one time been a row of 18th Century cottages that had been knocked into one to form Gothic House. It was not demolished to make way for Heathrow Airport but survived until the early 1960s when the houses in Gothic Court were built on the site.

Two photographs are attached one showing a view from the 1920s and one from
the same vantage point taken in 2004.

"I'm wondering whether anyone within your society might have any information or knowledge of photographs, of Gothic House, Harlington.
I believe that the property was demolished at some time during the development of Heathrow Airport.
My mother-in-law was brought up in the house, which was owned by the Todd family, Victor and Kate with their daughters Roma and Margeret
and Roma's Children Jan and Marcia. Marcia is my mother-in-law.

I would be most grateful if anyone with any recollection of the house or family would make contact either through this site, or at
billjeffries@hotmail.co.uk. I also believe they occupied Gaspar Villas (?), also in Harlington.
