This is a higher quality scan of the same photo that we already have in our albums.

It was found stuck in the system (because the file size was a bit larger than the site can handle), so thanks to whoever was trying to upload it... could you tell us more please?

This photo was in an inherited family album and I believe it shows my future mother (then Mary Seymour) in the aisle seat of the wide third row. At the time the photo was taken Britain was in the second year of World War II. Chris Berry

I have two other photos from the same batch, taken from different angles. they were taken in 1941 my late mother and three aunts are on it, their names then were Beatrice Sceeny/Vera Sceeny/Ivy Sceeny/Win Sceeny. only one now survives, Ivy who lives in Australia and is now 86. Would like to know where this photo came from ?

That's just incredible... in my wildest drems I would never have expected anyone to see this and know some of the people in it, just brilliant. This is one of the photos Chris Berry found in a family album, see his message above.

Thanks to outstanding detective work by screenyclan I now realize that this family photo must have come down to me from my step mother, the former Annie Smith - she must be in the photo somewhere (so this photo does NOT contain, as I thought, a picture of my future mother, the then Mary Seymour). The Ann Smith that screenyclan mentions in his comment of May 3, 2008 18:05 is in fact my late step mother. Screenyclan also has a another picture of this scene (taken from different angle, the code at the bottom left is one digit higher than this photo). Many thanks screenyclan for helping to solve the mystery of this photo. Chris Berry

Yes, sorry, for reasons we can't fathom, post editing isn't working. I'll try to get into the database to edit it.
