Are we sure that photo is 1947? The young man on the left looks like me? I worked in there from about 1953/4 with those ladies on the front bench on the right, and I have a photo that I will dig out from when we crowned one of the girls/ladies as Queen at the time of queen Elizabeth coronation in 1953.

Hi John T;- This photo is actually mine, I loaned it to Phil Sherwood to copy, yes you are right it is later than 1947 my late mother Beatrice (Beat) Raymond (nee Sceeny) is the lady standing near the window at the front. I have another picture (see my gallery) with all four sister on, my mum (Beat), Ivy Sceeny, Win Sceeny and Vera Sceeny along with other known names. This was sent to me by my aunt Ivy, she lives in Australia and is 90 next year. that photo we know is about 1941. What is your surname, will ask Ivy see if she remembers you. Regards Barry
