A Royal Congratulations!
Lil & Charlie Moneypenny were proud to receive a royal congratulations from Her Majesty the Queen on their 60th wedding anniversary (Friday 29th April).
The couple, from Hunters Grove, Hayes, were married in St Michaels' Church, Ladbroke Grove, London during Charles' leave of duty from the army as the second world war drew to an end in April 1945. When asked the what the key to so many years of happy marriage is, they replied that the most important things in their lives have been, and will always be, each other and their beloved family. They have faced life together, lived life together, and loved (and are still loving) life together.
Many congratulations and good wishes go to Lil & Charlie from the whole family and all their friends and neighbours.
