My mum worked there for years, so that got us on the kid's party list!
Then I worked in the Head Office when I left school.

The EMI also had a lot of stuff going on for the Coronation in 1953. They brought lots of TVs into the canteen as not many people had one in those days! My mum worked there & had to go into work that day, as catering was needed, & I went with her, & got to watch it !

My grandad worked at "the Gram" during the war and one of my uncles worked for EMI, which took him eventually out to Australia.
