Hello Patrick, I assume Patrick Holt?
Such a lot of water has gone under the bridge since Mellow Lane but when one looks back it's gone in a flash.
Are you still living in Hayes or have you moved on as I don't recall you as being one to have been 'rooted' in one place, there agin we did not consider those things about eah othere when we were young.
I have been living in South Africa for 27 years after being retrenched in the UK. Have been back several times, last year being the last visit, and I don't think I shall return again, the caost of getting there is now far too expensive and sad to say I was not impressed by the old country and it's people. Morals and 'our' old standards have all but disappeared. I certainly miss the beer, bitter in particular, as its all lager here but over the years I've 'forced' myself to get acclimatised to it; of course cod & chips is another 'delicacy' that I sorely miss.

Hi Brian, My second name is Hulbert. I have been arranging re-unions for several years now and we are called the Mellow Lane 49'ers. Unfortunately I have been unwell recently so we did not have a reunion this year but hopefully 2010.
