Considering those outings were such fun, we look quite serious.

I don't remember going on this walk, but this picture captures the atmosphere of those I did join. A great picture.

Ann Gatford went to Townfield Infant's and Junior School with me. I located her brother, Ian, 4 years ago (when he was the Archdeacon of Derby) but for some reason he didn't reply to my e-mail. (I did hear from a Ms R Green that he had received my e-mail). I have posted to YouTube a silent clip of Ian playing the piano at his house in Hayes in 1960 (in the clip he is watched by his mother and sister, Ann, and me). Ann Gatford, I believe, worked for The Children's Trust but I haven't been able to contact her either. Maybe one day Ian and Ann will get to see the clip I've made an effort to show them.

Aah.. Thankyou so much for telling us about that. It is good to see Ann, Ian and their Mother and remembering how they were. Chris, we may have met some time as my sister and I often went to Anne's house and also the birthday parties there. I remember Ian's mischievous laughter, just how he looked on the clip. It is a good piece of film.

I meant to say thanks, Sam, for putting the link there. Which letter /number did you type for a small 'l' which followed after R. They seem to type like '1' the number, if you can understand what I mean. Thankyou.
