So beautiful. This is similar to the memorial in Bisham Church next to the Thames at Marlow.

This certainly is a beautiful memorial, it depicts Sir Roger Aston, his two wivws, four daughters and his only son, who died in infancy. His first wife was Dame Mary Stuart who was the mother of his four daughters, and his second wife Cordelia the mother of his only son. The figures appear to have had colour changes, as G.E. Bate in his book 'And So Make A City Here' states that all the dresses were brown with the exception of the youngest daughter Anne whose dress was still green, which denoted that she was unmarried at the time of her fathers death. The Memorial was commissioned a short time before his death and was made by William Cure , master mason of Southwark from Alabaster at a cost of £180
