It certainly does. I left my house on Boxing Day to travel to the Fulham v Manchester United game, it was snowing very slightly but by half-time it was a blizzard. The following morning it had drifted to about 3 feet in front of our door.

I remember it well!
We were staying with relations for Christmas in a little village just outside Bath.The weather warnings for the area weren't good so we decided to leave early on Boxing Day. By the time we arrived home, they were snow bound in that village!

I was doing a paper round then for Springles in Coldharbour Lane, still went out on the Sunday morning, the drifts were as high as the gate posts. Took me most of the morning and was the first and only time I had seen buses with snow chains on along Church Road.
