Fabulous photo. I used to drink in the Hayes Social & Sports Club with
Tinna Hammond whose real name I believe would have been Jack. His son John was my Best Man. Their favourire pub used to be the Woolpack in Dawley road as they lived just across the road from it.
Did the Dawley Cottage become the Woolpack ??

In answer to bondyboy67's question;-no the Dawley Cottage Beerhouse 'Whitehouse' was reverted to a dwelling in the 1950's and was demolished in the early 1990's the site is now part of a car park swallowed up by the Stockley Park Development. (other side of the road to the Woolpack)

Re my earlier comment, I now know that "Tinna" Hammonds first name was Henry, I would guess he was possibly Charlie Hammond's son or a relative.
