Though its not Hayes, Sipson is very topical at the moment due to planned Heathrow expansion

The Heathrow villages are very much within our area of interest, many thanks.

I thought it was because of the church in the distance. There are some amazing local pictures on here. Fascinating to look through.

I think it's Sipson Rd, Sam, not Sipson Lane. I was a bit puzzled as I know the post office is now on the same side as the church, but thought maybe it had been rebuilt or something! It was after seeing this more up to date picture of the post office & Hollycroft Gdns that I realised! http://middx.net/photopost/showphoto.php/photo/1177/size/big Both pictures were taken going towards W Drayton. The King William pub will be on the left opposite the church, but is out of sight! Sipson Lane would be on the right just before the church. Smile

I think you're right Pam. My apologies as even after living around the area for so long I still manage to confuse the two quite often. I am really enjoying looking through these many pictures of the borough in times gone by. Such a shame that most area's have changed so dramatically, they look so tranquil in the pictures and a nice place to live.
