Postcards by W H Applebee of various views of Hayes.
These are the last of my WHA postcards of Hayes.
W H Applebee was a postcard publisher from Ashford, active between 1912 and 1925(ish). These pictures would have been taken around 1914, except the canal bridge card which would have been around 1923.
That's a good view of Sandow's Cocoa Factory being erected in the background! You can see it in the background of two of the Aeolian Company overall pictures. One could probably trace exactly when it was built.
