Postcards by W H Applebee of various views of Hayes.
I have a few more if anyone's interested.
W H Applebee was a postcard publisher from Ashford, active between 1912 and 1925(ish). These pictures would have been taken between 1913 and 1918, except the canal bridge card which would have been around 1923.
Some of these postcards are ones I've never seen before, and I've been in touch with the local author and historian, Philip Sherwood, and four of them are completely new to him. They're excellent quality scans, but we'd be very interested in even higher resolution scans of them if that is at all possible?

I have uploaded the rest of my Hayes cards now.
I am currently researching WH Applebee for a book I intend to publish. Please contact me off-list (not sure if its possible to send PMs with this board)
