Also, the policeman and the young man appear in the school picture (1427) Postcards by W H Applebee of various views of Hayes. I have a few more if anyone's interested. W H Applebee was a postcard publisher from Ashford, active between 1912 and 1925(ish). I meant to say that the building in the middle with the scaffolding hadn't been completed when this was taken. Compare with 2942.
