Thankyou for the picture which intrigued me being that the caption said the Garden Party was held at Heathrow. I have read that in 1929, Richard Fairey formed a company to test aircraft and so bought 150 acres at Heathrow from the Vicar of Harmondsworth. Apparently some local residents at the time had to be placated .. humm .. wonder what they would think now.
