Past St Mary's, through Barra Hall Park, across Freeman's Lane into Botwell Lane, through Lake Farm to the Grand Union Canal, along the canal to Station Road. Destination MacDonald's. They knew we were coming, we got there at 19.50 and they could see us outside. We were ready to go in at 19.55, but a couple of minutes ealier, they'd locked the door...and they wouldn't let us in saying they closed at 8. We only wanted ice creams or coke... but no, they said we couldn't go in.
So we wen round the corner to a sweet shop instead where the ice creams on offer were BETTER and CHEAPER. Still, we learnt not to go back to MacDonald's ever again!
