You may remember that some time ago somebody claimed to have found the remains of the stocks in Hayes churchyard and I said that I thought it was in fact an old graveboard. I attach a copy of a drawing of the church from "The History of Hayes" by Thomas Mills (1874) that shows some graveboards present in the church yard.
