Re the date of the picture, a friend tells me that's a 1937 Austin or Morris parked there.

Well I wouldn't know, as dad would have only been 12 in 1922 I don't know if he wrote on the back or his father did. Perhaps you could find out the dates the Hummerstons ran the place.

Strange, as "Brian" in the cafe insists that's a 1937 car which couldn't have existed in 1922! Anyway, I've snatched a quick photo of the place this afternoon for you. I did a bit of a search around for the car and I think you are right, they weren't produced in the 20's so I have no idea why it has 1922 on the back, maybe dad was guessing...lol Thanx so much for the new pic, dad will be chuffed.

when my wife's grandfather owned the Woolpack there was a conservatory on the back,it was hooked on to the kitchen then, does anyone know if it's till there or if and when it was taken down. July 1st you all can wish us happy Canada Day, have a good weekend Bruce

I spoke to someone today who knows The Woolpack and they said, no, no conservatory out the back, just the 'gentleman's club'.
