Militant "Bertha" Is Demobilised

On August 2nd 1979, Militant 0860149 left Ruddington MoD Sales as Lot 1357, bound
for a new life and home in Civvy Street, East Anglia. She is shown in demob dress
above, left. She was to be converted into a heavy-duty breakdown wagon for Hannants
Garage of North Walsham in North Norfolk. In 1996 Hannants commercial vehicle
interests, which included "Bertha", were sold to
D W H Commercials of North Walsham
who continued operations from the same premises.
Unfortunately, at some stage in her lifetime, "Bertha's" early credentials were lost, probably during her conversion, and Tony Binks of D W H Commercials, wants to find them. Some details are known, such as her Chassis Number, above. Also, during scanning of her picture for this web page, a chalked number was noticed on her front panel, shown above, right, which is assumed to have been her military Registration Number. Can somebody help Tony in filling in some missing details please?
