AEC Southall Drawing Office Staff - 1962 Draughtsman Eric Hayles working on the 'Production Side' of the Main (or Chief Engineer's) Drawing Office . Here he is preparing a revised SK22- Bodybuilders Drawing for the Renown cab Structure Q257, following changes to lower the cab by 3 inches, as a development from the first Prototype build. This 1/8th scale drawing, together with associated 1/4 scale layout drawings, still exist ... but for how much longer? This drawing board position faced south and was situated in the (first) office-extension area.
