Sadly, due to events outside of our control, the Noticeboards here which we all know and love have disappeared.

You will need to register to start using these new one; it's very simple and should only take a minute.

Many thanks.

It's going to take time to add all the sections and information to these Noticeboards, so please keep checking back.

Please repost anything you can that you'd posted on the old boards, it'll be a great help.

Thanks.

Didn't you try a hammer?

Perhaps if we were to bring back Morse Code, button A and B telephone boxes, Telex machines and slide rules then things might actually work!

I'm afraid it's a long and tragic tale. The host company seems to have pulled the plug on itself and won't talk to anyone. That happened on December 24th. I'd been using them for some years now and the chap who owned it was fantastic.... until now. It's just a weird situation. We are not the only ones affect by it.

It hasn't taken long for the spammers and scammers to get on board.

Indeed, incredible the lightning speed at which they arrive. I left the door open so people could sign up with the minimum of fuss to get us up and running again, but we've closed it now and switched on various safety features to keep them out. Hopefully that'll be the end of it.

Josh:

Found you at last! I see there is a scam ad on the Adverts page, which seems to have appeared before you turned on the protection.

Regards

Bill

Thanks Bill, gone now. I've just tried to restore your moderator status, could you let me know if it's worked.

Thanks.

Good news, most of the original site has now been restored. The biggest casualty is this forum, which cannot be restored to its former glory. Onwards and upwards, it's great to see a lot of use being made of the ads section already.

More sections will have info in soon.

Thanks.
