WE had a lot of interesting publications (as well as destinations, bus stop flags, uniforms and a tram-era first aid box) donated to Glasgow Vintage Vehicle trust Last Sunday. I have been allowed to borrow two of them and scan some images.

The first two are from Daimler Of Coventry published by Jaguar Cars in 1966. I am currently scanning files from it but will have to play about with photshop at home before I have files small engough to upload for you.

May be easier and certainly quicker to post links to my Flickr feed.

Irfanview is a super, simple, quick program for resizing pix. I know of no other program that gives a better combination of simplicity, quality and power. Highly recommended and free!!

Yes, Irfanview is very good.

Also, one may rotate by fractional degree, useful with skewed original scans. That operation is a bit fiddly, but then so is free-hand rotation in PhotoShop.

The attachment was just scanned, the straightened and size-reduced with Irfanview as an exanple.

Cheers,
