Hi All,

Since beginning the restoration of our 0854 6x6 RAF tanker we have come across several other Matador owners in need of a new cabs. We are just finalising details but if anyone would like a new cab building can you PM please as the more we order the cheaper it will be. Hopefully looking at £600/ £650 each.

Thanks

Tim

I don't like to be the bearer of bad news, but I understand the Matador cab frame builder in the west country has ceased production and also sold his template cab.

Please let us know if this is confirmed.

Thanks, Martyn

Hi Martyn,

We had no luck tracking him down so came up with an alternative plan after collecting enough useable cab frame sections to use as patterns. Just testing the water before the Chippy starts work as it will bring the price down the more we order between ourselves.

Very interested in a set of front mud guards still if you can help please?

Thanks

Tim

I think we may have had contact via HMVF, but yes I am still very interested in at least one, more likely I would have two. Keep me in the loop. Cheers Dan
