As some may know the AEC Regent lll bus chassis has cardan shafts with universal joints (UJs) unique to AEC. If the picture opens you will see the joint comprises of trunnion bars and fulcrum blocks on each end of the bars, that tie the joint together. If anyone has any of these parts for sale or knows of a source please let me know. On the Routemasters AEC used the Hardy Spicer UJs as did Leyland on the RTL, I have been told that the rear cardan of the RM will fit the RT, does anyone have any detailed knowledge of these parts, including if it's possible to convert the AEC joints/flanges to take Hardy Spicer joints and if so is there anyone who can do this.
