Post subject:  Tyres for Regent V

Hello everyone.....I need new tyres for my Regent V....currently it is on 10,00 r20 steel radials...plenty of tread but cracked walls...can I change them to 9,00 r20?.....only because I am struggling to find decent reasonably priced 10,00 tyres but have found some 9,00 sized.....your thoughts please..... Thankyou Karl......or am I on the wrong track....Or any other suggestions/contacts for said items.....happy to change out all 6 if needed..........

Personally I wouldn't change tyre size. Apart from potential performance issues and inaccuracy of speedo, you will have no idea of correct pressures to use.

I use BigTyres - https://www.bigtyres.co.uk/truck-tyres-bus-tyres.html . Their prices for 900R20 and 1000R20 are comparable and are probably reasonable although Mitas cross-ply are the only ones I have bought and are much cheaper. If your vehicle is old enough to have once run on cross-plies you might like to consider using them.
