This is written on behalf of a friend who doesn't have access. He has a Regent V 2D2RA with major engine trouble and was exploring the possibility of replacing the wet-liner engine with an AV691 or 760 goods engine. To adapt the goods engine for use in the Monocontrol Regent, would all of the existing parts from the old engine that needed to be changed over, e.g. sump, oil pick-up, backplate, flywheel, etc, fit the dry-liner engine or would additional parts have to be sourced? All advice gratefully received.
