A recent spell on a pit enabled me to get a couple of 'underneath' photos of Regent III Rochdale 235 - not a view that can usually be obtained easily!

Sadly all was not entirely well - the nearside rear hub oil seal had gone, so there was diff oil all over the brake drum and shoes. But some hard work has seen her back on the road in the last week.

WOE she looks great underneath, and the fleeting glimpses of the body paint work looks superb. Fantastic job.

What engine does she have? is it a standard AEC A204 as fitted to all LT RT's except the pre wars?

Hi

It's a provincial-spec engine so has an oil bath air filter, which is the basic reason why the provincial Regent had a higher bonnet line than the RT. I'm sure someone will come along with the correct number, as I'm at work and doing this from memory, was it A219?

Thanks for the compliments, I've put a pic below of what it looks like.

Quite a few differences in the pictures compared to an RT.
