An Old Pal passed a while back and one of the last things He did before going ino Hospital was to unscrew an old Brass Plaque I'd noticed on the old truck roof they used to cover the Victorian bricked well.As you can probably tell I love a bit of History and I was hoping To Identify the truck it was on.I'd heard that Steam Trucks were used in Hydro - Electric work at Coleridge NZ and other Dams.It is 6 inches long 4 and a 1/2 high. The AEC design and the specs. It's from Walthamstow London and specs are: TYPE 5 ,Number V15394 and Engine No212 .If someone can shed some light on the type and look I'd be most interested. The roof was squarish and early Army had been up there too.
