Can anybody help me identify the year of manufacture for my new project and how I go about finding the history, deep cut ? But I need a contact?

The military reg is 11 RD 51

Andy, if you know your chassis number, and it is above 0853 600 (the first 600 are missing) the chassis build sheet is available from The British Commercial Vehicle Museum at Leyland. Just send them a cheque for £25 and they will send a verified copy suitable for registering your AEC Matador with an age related number.
