Hi All I have just got back from The Basingstoke Festival of Transport. While I was there I got talking to a very nice chap that had a Matador that is fitted with a Foden winch and an Atlas air compressor. We got talking Matadors and as I was looking around it I noticed it had a different steering box to mine. Mine has a plain straight steeing column but the one on his was fatter and has a bulge at the top. He said that it was a common mod to timber Mats as the standard box makes them very awkward to manouvre in the woods, unfortunately he couldn't tell me what type of AEC it came from.
Can any one tell me what it would be from and where I can find one?
