I'm trying to make a 3D virtual model of an AEC refueller/bowser as used by the RN on Fleet Air Arm airfields during the 1960. In order to do this I need to find either 1) good 3-view drawings of such a vehicle (e.g. publicity material or blueprints); and/or 2) locate an owner of such a vehicle who will let me visit to take photos and measurements.

Can anyone help me, or point me in the direction of someone who can??

Below is a photo of the vehicle I'm interested in. It is an AEC, but I believe the refueller part was built by Saros or Glosters.

I took the above photo at the RNAS Yeovilton Air Day in 2011 (i.e. last year) and met the owner. At the time I took the their details with a view to taking photos and measurements later... but since then I've lost them! I believe the owner is from Somerset and I think the Castle Cary area. Does anyone know who the owner is and can put me in touch? Are YOU the owner?! In either case please, please PM me!

Many thanks indeed

Andy

Interestingly the AEC Centenary Special of Classic & Vintage Commercials has a photo of just such a refueller attending the Centenary rally on page 44! Does anyone know the owner?

It seems the one pictured in the mag is in addition to the one I saw ay Yeovilton (above)... although both may have been present at the rally?? A Google image search seems to suggest so...
