Scout groups from throughout Hayes took part, as usual, in the Remembrance Day Parade in November.

3rd Hayes was very proud to have a good turnout as the parade marched from the Royal British Legion on the Uxbridge Road to the Cenotaph at St Mary's Parish Church in Church Road.

The Rev Peter Homewood, Rector of St Mary's, conducted a short outdoor service, as wreaths were laid at the Cenotaph by representatives of all the groups present and the MP for Hayes and Harlington, John McDonnell. This was accompanied by the sounding of the Last Post.

All those gathered then went into the church for a service of remembrance.
