A year in the life of Cobra

TOWARDS the end of September, 1999, Akela held his long-awaited VIDEO
PRESENTATION. Two short films with music and commentary showing the huge
range of activities enjoyed by Cobra Cubs over the previous year or so.
Because most activities are videoed, so that pictures can be grabbed for the
weekly newsletter, there was plenty of material.
As well as watching the highly-entertaining films, four new Cubs were
invested, and all Cobra Pack's uniformed leaders received special awards
from the Chief Scout for 5-years service.
As if that wasn't enough, an amazing spread of food was laid on.....and the
Cubs sang their pack song to the parents at the end! There's lots for you to
see on the following pages, although the lighting in the hall is not very
good for filming, so the colour aren't all that fantastic. Also, the lights
were down low some of the time to create a cosy ambience!
